Residence Atlantica

The apartment was really well equipped, and the residence is in a great location. We got a very warm welcome and had a fantastic stay. It’s a shame our view was of trees rather than the harbor, though that wasn’t the manager’s fault.

The fridge had clearly seen better days, and I ended up throwing out two-thirds of my groceries. After we discussed it yesterday, it was replaced with a new one today. I was also given stained sheets, but the cleaning service changed a few days later and I got clean ones. There were some communication difficulties with the landlord at first, though I was pleasantly surprised that our conversations stayed constructive. Overall, the rental was perfectly adequate despite the outdated plumbing. To be continued...

The manager, Mr. Bovy, gave us a very warm welcome. He’s a bit of a joker 😉 and is always available to help make the stay enjoyable. The apartment is lovely and sits in a well-located residence overlooking the marina ⛵, though trees 🌳 block some of the view and provide welcome shade in the hottest part of the day ☀️. It’s eight minutes from the thermal baths and ideally placed for day trips.

The many trees block the harbor view that the apartment is advertised as having, so what you mostly see is trees. Hundreds of birds crowd them and make things very noisy in the evenings and mornings. Still, the apartment is clean, despite its age.
