The restaurant served really good food, and the room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. I booked late because I only needed somewhere for the night, and it had everything I needed. It’s not the cheapest, but there’s a bar area and private parking. The grounds seem to be on an estate, so parking felt secure and the setting was peaceful.

It felt calm and had a sense of history, so I’d stay again. It’s a huge resort, and in June it wasn’t busy. There seemed to be more golf than anything else. A good first stop on the drive down from Caen. The set dinner menu was pretty salty, though.

There was loads to do during the day. I stayed by the pool while some of my colleagues played volleyball, basketball, or mini golf. We were there for a two-day work team-building stay, and I really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, stylish, and nice, with a small-castle feel. The local caterer and restaurant cooked for us both days, and the food was amazing.

The setting is beautiful, and the food was delicious. I stayed for 3 nights, and the room was comfortable, but a strange noise kept bothering me. I couldn’t figure out what it was. Also, there were lots of ants in the bathroom every night.

The buffet breakfast was pleasant, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room let the stay down: it was quite small, with very cheap furniture and furnishings, and the shower was cramped, though OK. With more thought and care, this place could be excellent.
