B&B HOTEL Paris Nord 2 CDG Aéroport

AirFrance chose this hotel for me after my flight was canceled, as part of the required compensation. It’s clearly an airport hotel: functional, but I was glad to leave. The reception and service felt minimal and cold, and the room was okay, nothing special. Breakfast was disappointing. The pastries were nice, but the scrambled egg was ice cold, the coffee was poor and the juice was mislabeled. There are lots of other options around, so unless Air France or another airline requires you to stay here, I really wouldn’t recommend it.

There was an odd dripping or running water noise from the air conditioner all night, and it made sleeping difficult. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work at all during my two-night stay. When I reported the connection problem, reception said it had been down “since 5 PM today,” had been reported to the technical team, and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. The next day, I overheard another guest report the same issue, and the same receptionist again said it had been down “since 5 PM today.” That made it seem the problem had been ongoing, and the information given to guests wasn’t accurate. Reliable internet and basic room comfort matter to travelers. I was disappointed by both the lack of Wi-Fi for two full days and the misleading updates.

Air France sent us here after our flight was delayed, so we could catch the next one the following day. I suppose they use it as a partner hotel, but the standard didn’t feel right. I’d call the place more of a lodge than a hotel. It’s hidden and far from the airport, and it doesn’t look very nice. It seemed like they were trying to save as much as possible to maximize margins, even giving guests only a small paper with a code to open the door instead of a room key. The bedsheet was upside down, probably a housekeeping mistake, and the food lacked flavor, though it wasn’t too bad. The service was the bigger issue. Fatou, who welcomed me at reception, was nice and lovely. She even let me charge my phone with her cable. But I heard her colleague Dayna, behind a door, telling Fatou to be careful of me. Dayna was rude when I asked for something, with no smile or professionalism. If you hate people, why work at reception? The next day, Fanta had a similar energy to Fatou and was helpful. Thank you, Fatou and Fanta. Because of you, this isn’t a 1-star review.

My flight was canceled, so I stayed one night. The hotel was really clean, and the staff were nice and understanding. I recommend it 👌
