Ibis Styles Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

We had just had our flight home cancelled when my boyfriend and I booked this hotel for 5-6 January 2026, hoping to get some rest. Instead, it made an already stressful situation harder. We were exhausted and hungry, but none of the vending machines accepted our card. The male receptionist brushed us off with “try again,” even after we'd already tried, then spoke as though we were stupid for not knowing how to use them. I asked about nearby places to eat and got a quick “no,” which wasn't true. The next day we found restaurants and a Starbucks at Ibis Paris CDG Airport just across the way. Instead, the receptionist sent us to the bar, saying the chef could make pizzas. The chalkboard listed around a dozen, but only a spicy one and a margherita were supposedly available. We ordered one of each, with two bottles of water and a Desperados. A staff member seemed unsure where to look in the fridge, then said there was no Desperados. We were charged €42 for two frozen pizzas taken from plastic packaging and put in a small oven. Both came out spicy, not the two different pizzas we'd ordered. Too tired to argue, we took them to the room. We had also paid for half-board through Booking.com. At about 7:30 p.m., we came down for dinner and were told the restaurant was fully booked and we'd have to wait an hour. Nobody had mentioned this at check-in. The food was fine once we sat down, but the waitress, whose nametag said she spoke English, didn't understand that our meal was prepaid. We showed the booking confirmation several times, yet she sent us to reception and then chased us as we tried to leave, demanding payment. Several staff members and more back-and-forth were needed before anyone confirmed the meal was included. The next morning, we asked if we could stay another night to make onward travel easier. The receptionist curtly said, “No, we're fully booked,” without checking the system or offering another option. Her tone was unnecessarily rude. After how we'd been treated, we didn't want to stay longer, but we also didn't want to spend our last full day in Paris moving hotels and had tried to make the best of things. The place felt disorganised and uncaring. Staff were often rude and dismissive, or unable or unwilling to help. Between the misleading information, poor service, and €42 for frozen pizzas and 2 waters, I would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

The food was the one saving grace. The hotel seemed extremely understaffed for the number of guests coming through, and they lean heavily on the Star Wars theme, as if hoping guests won't notice the shortcomings. My first assigned room hadn't been cleaned: the bed looked like the previous guest had just left, and there were towels and rubbish on the bathroom floor. The second room looked clean, but the shower head was broken and the shower had no hot water. I reported it right away, but nobody found me another room.

The location works very well for flying and for taking the train or metro into Paris. Parking was easy to access and felt safe, and the price seemed very good for the quality. We slept really well. The room had a nice design and bathroom, darkening curtains, a good bed and pillows, and no noise. Everything was clean throughout. Breakfast was great too, with healthy and gourmet options, coffee, tea, eggs, cheese, fruit, and dairy. The reception team were friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay ^^

It's wonderfully clean throughout, and the location is great. You can walk over from the airport's internal shuttle, so there's no need to load your things into a van. Reception was good despite being busy, and the food was good and surprisingly good value. The rooms are small, as others have mentioned. What affected us most was the temperature. The air conditioning and heating weren't working because some authority had decided they weren't needed in October. The bedding felt very plasticky, which made for a cold but sweaty night. With heating, we could have slept under just a sheet instead of using the polyester comforter. I'd avoid the hotel in seasons when HVAC isn't allowed.
