Pentahotel Paris CDG

The staff who spoke English were warm and helpful, which made this an easy stay after my flight was canceled and I needed somewhere to sleep. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, with a good shower and a comfy bed. The heating never seemed to get the room as warm as I wanted, though, and I missed having milk sachets in the room.

We found a room at the last minute after our flight was canceled, and check-in was really easy. The hotel is close to the airport, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super lovely too. We had cocktails at the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both were great.

In January 2026, my family and I were traveling in Europe when our flight home was canceled. I had booked two rooms here for the last night of our trip because it was an “airport hotel” near the airport, and I needed to move our reservation. What followed was a confusing mess, and I was charged for the original night anyway. I tried four ways to sort it out: email, a direct phone call, asking Hotels.com to contact the hotel, and sending a message through the Hotels.com app, which says it reaches the property directly. I got different answers each time, or no reply. Hotels.com was told the hotel wouldn't move the reservation and would charge me for the original night. On the phone, though, an employee said he had moved it. He didn't mention a penalty, a continued charge, or that this would be treated as a new reservation. I never got an updated confirmation either. After charging me, the hotel said it hadn't changed my original booking and had made a new reservation instead. When I followed up to fix things, they said they couldn't help because I booked through Hotels.com, while also blaming Hotels.com for being unable to cancel the “new reservation” the hotel said it had made. I don't understand how Hotels.com could have created that booking, or why the hotel couldn't cancel it. If the dates had been moved on the hotel's end and tied to my original reservation, it feels like they still wanted to keep the money for the original night. I was told one thing, charged anyway, then given shifting explanations with no accountability. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially if you're stranded by a canceled flight and booked through a third party.

I felt comfortable in the clean, secure room. It was spacious by Paris standards, and the bathroom was a decent size with clean tile and grout, though the sink had little counter space. The hotel was quiet and about 10 min from the airport. Room service costs an extra €5, or you can collect food from the restaurant yourself. There's refillable water by the lobby bar, part of the hotel's effort to be eco-friendly. One thing Americans may miss: there were no wash clothes. I was here after a flight cancellation, and the Uber arrangement worked well even without an airport shuttle. They partner with Uber for a flat €9 each way, paid at the hotel. You can order online with a form or call; a virtual assistant answered in English when I called. Reception is at the bar as you enter, where I got a warm Bonjour, paid the city tax, and was given a link to book my return Uber too. My review is based on the location to CDg airport. It's a hip, stylish 4 star airport hotel with 5 star service, and a different kind of place for friends or family groups to hang out before a flight or after a long day exploring.
