Those nearby village sights are a real draw, especially the Petit and Grand Cascades. The room was spacious and clean, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. The male host spoke enough English to help us get things sorted. The meals were excellent and very reasonably priced, so I’d gladly recommend it to budget travellers.

A handy place to stop for a night and rest after a long drive. The accommodation was clean and good, and the restaurant food was tasty. I’d definitely recommend it.

While I was driving there, reception called to say they wanted to cancel my last-minute, non-refundable reservation made through Booking.com. Terrible service. I still have to see whether they’ll refund the payment.

Desserts were nice, but the starters didn’t really inspire me. The food itself was okay, and there were three dishes to choose from for the plat du jour. The chef’s attitude was a shame. They clearly didn’t seem to like English people, even when they spoke French.
