If you enjoy rolling countryside and horses, this place is a great fit. It’s clean, new, and spotless, and the owner is really friendly. Pau is only about a 15-minute drive away. Highly recommend it.

The welcome from André and the cottage’s other residents was lovely. We stayed in a charming place high above a little valley, with Pyrenees views and horses all around. It’s not far from Pau, and we had a fantastic stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s very well equipped, with a roomy bedroom and bathroom. The cottage sits in the hills above Rontignon, out in the countryside among horses, and it’s wonderfully quiet. A beautiful place, highly recommended!

The owner is very helpful and knows the area well. The cottage also makes a convenient base for hiking or cycling, with a lovely view of the Pyrenees. It’s attached to a horse boarding facility, with wide pastures around it, so the setting is peaceful and relaxing. Parking is easy and all the necessary amenities are there. Near Pau, it works well for a longer stay, such as an internship or a move to the area.

We spent two really good months here. The place is bright and roomy, and the location was just right. The laundry setup was the one drawback: when it rained, clothes took ages to dry. A tumble dryer or portable clothesline would be a welcome addition.
