We felt completely at peace in this friendly, intimate village. The house is beautiful, with breathtaking views of the river just a few steps from the rushing water. Our room was spacious and spotless, and Nigel looked after all our needs. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We booked the downstairs flat, with three large double bedrooms and three bathrooms. It’s very spacious, nicely decorated, and looks over the river. Shops, cafes and restaurants are a two-minute walk away, and the upstairs flat is even larger. There’s a games room with darts, table football, pool and board games, which you can arrange to use in advance. That was a huge plus for both kids and adults. Nigel, the English owner, was really helpful and informative.

Nigel was a great host, and I hope I get to come back someday. The house is beautiful, very spacious and bright throughout, and set in such an idyllic spot. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with 19 students. The view was astounding, and the facilities were top quality. Even though it was over 35 degrees outside, it stayed cool downstairs. Nigel and Alice were very kind.
