Les Mayombes

We were so pleasantly surprised by this peaceful, authentic, and comfortable cottage. Everything had been carefully prepared, and we had all we needed. The owners were kind, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with real care put into it. I highly recommend this lovely, peaceful little corner.

We brought our three dogs along for a birthday gathering at the whole cottage, and they had a great time. The separate cottages gave everyone privacy, while the partly enclosed dining space worked well in the mid-season. We also enjoyed the estate’s activities, including the heated pool, pétanque courts, and ping pong table. Thanks to Jacques and Caroline for being so welcoming and available. And the professional dishwasher deserves a mention, it makes cooking and enjoying the time together so much less stressful!

We booked the whole property for 20 people, and everyone had their own place with a kitchen, bathroom, and air conditioning. The large dining table and pool made for lovely, sociable time together, and everyone enjoyed it. There’s plenty to do, including pétanque, ping pong, and swimming. The accommodations are beautifully decorated and the setting is peaceful. The owners are lovely and always available. We highly recommend the place and will definitely come back.

Jacques and Caroline gave us a warm welcome for a week with friends. The shared living space is spacious and well equipped for a group, and the many accommodations are far enough apart to give everyone privacy. It’s a great base for exploring the Var, from the coast to inland spots like Verdon Gorge. Highly recommended.
