Les Pignons

The lake is a nice place to fish, then have an evening barbecue or picnic. There’s also a pool, table tennis, darts, and a golf course that’s a bit rough around the edges but good fun. Jo and Adie are friendly hosts who give you space but are there when you need them. It’s a great place to stay and handy for the airports. I hope to come back soon.

We’ve been twice now, and I’m already looking forward to another visit. Jo and Adie are lovely hosts, always nearby if you need help, especially with ideas for local towns and restaurants. There’s loads to do at the gite, including the pool, golf course, games room, and a well stocked honesty bar. The countryside around the property is beautiful, and the airports are close by. We drove on our first trip and flew and drove the second time. I’d book early for the busy holiday season.

We’ve just got home after a fantastic stay at the Gite. Jo & Adie are such a welcoming couple. Ask Adie for a golf lesson, and be ready for his pool challenge! We also enjoyed a pizza day with them. For an outing nearby, there’s a night market every Wednesday evening, starting at around 7 pm. The Gite is very close to chateau les maubats, where there’s an open wine tasting evening every Thursday from 7 pm to 11 pm.

The games room and barbecue area got plenty of use, and the honesty bar was a nice extra. We’ve stayed here a few times, and each visit has been fantastic. The accommodation is spacious and clean, and the food is both plentiful and really good quality. Definitely recommend a stay.
