REDHOUSE Chambre zen

DIRTY, AVOID. The curtains and seals were very dirty and black, the mattress was stained under a mattress pad, and there were cobwebs. I chose the place because it had a pool, but my granddaughter wouldn’t go in because there was pollen at the bottom. The owner told her it might be harmless, but I understood why she didn’t want to swim. We stayed one night, and that was enough for us. The studio has a door from the owner’s house, through his bathroom, into it. The owner accused me of damaging the countertop and fridge, even though we only stayed that one night because of the state of the place. I hadn’t cooked, since my granddaughter wanted BK. He’s asking me for €530 for the damage, but what damage? I paid the full rent and even cleaned the place. I have photos of my statements to support this.

The manager gave us such a generous, welcoming reception. The rooms were super clean and had all the comforts we could wish for, with beautiful surroundings and views of the Pyrenees. It’s close to Toulouse, and the setting feels like a little paradise, so exotic it’s like traveling to the four corners of the world!

The house was nice, clean, and well arranged, and the little pool was pleasant. But our “studio” was very small and part of the owner’s house, with access through his bathroom. As with two other rented places, there was no individual air conditioning. The owner’s air conditioning was weak, and he wouldn’t turn it down, so it never got below 28°C in the studio.

The welcome was friendly, the bed comfortable, and the room well equipped. The garden was lovely.
