The owner was friendly and fun to talk with over breakfast, and people around town were just as welcoming to visitors. Chateau Rosans doesn't have its own restaurant, but there's one right next door. We happened to visit during their small-town food and music festival, which had a really charming feel. The room was fantastic, with its sloping floors and older furnishings, and the whole place captures the feel of an old chateau in a little French town. Chateau Rosans is a lovely hotel, and I'd recommend stopping here while traveling through France.

We shared dinner with the other guests, and both the food and the atmosphere were awesome. This was the best experience I've had in this little medieval village. Everything felt right: it was clean and comfortable, and people were so friendly and warm. A great welcome for a young couple too. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!
