Hôtel Aux Tamaris - Vue Mer

The room was wonderful, with one of the best views I've ever seen. I'll remember it for a long time. We arrived later than expected from the ferry but got a warm welcome, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel was warm, clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere and decor throughout. Breakfast was spot on, with plenty of everything and lots of continental choices. Great to see dogs can stay too. The location was perfect for my elderly Mum and me to stroll into Roscoff, a hidden gem. I understand the hotel decided not to serve evening meals because there are so many restaurants nearby. But Mum was tired, and one night we would have dearly loved some bread and cheese or pate, or a small snack. The hotel does offer room service, but the menu is all microwaveable and not to our taste. Otherwise, a perfect hotel! Loved it.

My partner was unwell for a night, and the lovely staff went out of their way to help us. We’ll come back.

We usually finish our French trips with a night or two at Hotel Aux Tamaris to rest before heading back to the UK, and we’ve already booked another stay for later this year. The location is spectacular, just a short walk from the main town, and the rooms are always clean, well equipped and comfortable. Odile and the whole team are lovely, and the buffet breakfast is probably the best in Roscoff. Such a wonderful boutique hotel. Highly recommend it, and we’ll be back.

We booked this three-night stay through Brittany Ferries about three years ago. It was easy to walk into the centre of Rosko for restaurants, and we could see the sea when we woke up. The room was comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and nicely presented, and the staff were welcoming and pleasant. At that time, the hotel didn’t serve an evening meal.
