I expected a hotel, but this is actually a lovely flat near the center of Rouen. It was quiet, clean and felt exclusive. Thanks.

We booked a night at "GITE DE LA ROUGEMARE" and paid extra for late check-in, but when we arrived there was nobody to hand over the keys. We had to find and pay for another hotel that night. The people at "GITE DE LA ROUGEMARE" never answered our calls or emails, yet still took our payment. Be careful if you plan to stay there. Rouen has plenty of other hotels. Bon voyage, everyone. S.G.
