There isn't much nearby apart from a gas station. After getting off the train, we would have had to take a bus and then walk two kilometers, or pay an exorbitant price for an UBER. When we reached reception at 14.00, we found a notice saying it was closed from 12.30-15.00. After coming all that way, we were left in a miserable situation. We canceled straight away and stayed in another city, which was definitely better than here.

A comfortable room and private parking made this a nice place to stay while visiting the beautiful surrounding region.

Very well maintained, with helpful and efficient staff, and breakfast was very good. The price was also quite reasonable when I stayed. It's an American-style motel on the outskirts of Rouffach, so it works especially well if you're exploring the region by car.

I can't say much about the hotel itself, but we had asked for dinner and ordered in advance from one of the menus on their website. When we arrived, that menu wasn't available. We were told it was only served on certain months or days, though the website didn't say that and nobody had told us beforehand. The food was mediocre, and then the bill had the wrong, higher price on it. I can't recommend it.

Having your own transport makes the location convenient. The rooms are clean, though quite small and not very well ventilated. Food is decent, but breakfast isn't worth the price. Dinner quality varies with the day and menu.
