Hôtel La Renaissance

The meal came out quickly, all together, even as the restaurant got busier. Our family of seven, including two children under five, went for lunch around midday on a Tuesday. The gentleman who greeted us was welcoming and patient while we tried to speak French, helping us in English when we needed it. Everyone enjoyed the fresh food, from salads and pizzas to steak, all cooked just right. There was plenty to eat, and the atmosphere stayed inviting. Very accommodating for children.

The award winning pizzas are wonderful, and this is the only place in Rouffignac where I can come in for a coffee with my dog. I used to give it two stars eight years ago, but things have changed. I had a very nice restaurant meal today, with a glass of Pecharmant and a good coffee to finish. The owners are friendly and nice.

We'd eaten here several times this week already, and the place is always busy with really friendly staff. The food is fantastic, especially the pork, and the desserts are delicious and moreish. The menu is good, with excellent pizzas and three current dishes of the moment. We were a bit nervous coming back because the food hadn't been so good on our last visit, the year before lockdown, and this was the only local restaurant available. Glad we tried it again, it's our local now. I also prefer Juliper to Leffe with a meal, as it's lighter. Thank you.
