After exploring the surrounding villages, the peaceful garden and pool were a lovely place to unwind. At Mas des Demoiselles, the rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, and the house blends Provençal character with modern comfort. Patricia and Philippe are warm, attentive hosts who clearly care about their home. Each morning they served a wonderful breakfast of delicious local products, prepared and presented so generously. We'd love to return, and highly recommend it for a quiet, elegant getaway in Provence.

Patricia's breakfast was delicious, especially her homemade yogurt and truffle omelette. We were the only guests, yet Philippe got up early each day to clean the pool whether we planned to swim or not. The house is a beautiful traditional French home on the outskirts of Roussillon, handy for visiting France's most beautiful villages. Patricia and Philippe take meticulous care of the place, with lots for guests to enjoy: an upstairs library, roomy sitting room, bar, gorgeous kitchen, sunny outdoor area, and the cleanest pool I've ever been in. We had a wonderful honeymoon/babymoon in Provence. Thanks for hosting us, we'll be back!

Felipe even gave us a lift to a local restaurant one night, bundling us into the back of his truck. It reminded me of growing up in rural Australia, only in much fancier surroundings! Felipe and Patricia are accommodating hosts, and this was one of our favourite places ever, with beautiful rooms, great food, lovely gardens, and a nice pool. The countryside was a great escape. Thanks for a great time, and enjoy New Zealand. A note for cyclists and bikepackers: it's very rural, so where possible we recommend taking the Veloroute de Cavalion to the south. We came through the mountains via Gordes/Rousillion/Sur Sorge/Fontain, which is better once you've dropped off your panniers. We went back and finished those villages the next day.

The place felt like a storybook, and after a couple of weeks of constant travel, my husband and I really needed the quiet. We were lucky to visit in July, when the lavender was blooming. Patricia and Phillipe were gracious hosts, even with our terrible attempts at French, and breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The photos don't capture how beautiful this little paradise is. I keep looking back at our pictures and wondering when we can return. 10/10.

Patricia and Philippe are gracious, welcoming hosts who know the area well. They can recommend nearby restaurants and make reservations, and many are only a ten-minute drive away. We could understand each other in English, which was OK. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and truffle omelets, and beautifully presented. The place was spotless, with real attention to detail, and a comfy bed. It's also well placed for day trips. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it, though the room is a 4 for us because we were on the 3rd level beneath the Vincent Van Gogh room, and there wasn't much sound insulation. On our first night, the guests above packed late, walked around noisily, and rolled suitcases over the floor. I'd bring ear plugs. There's no elevator to the top level, but Phillipe is used to helping with luggage. Definitely worth a stay.
