The campsite was so quiet, and there was good privacy between the units. We stayed two nights in a two bedroom mobile home, which was spotless and had a very comfortable double bed. The staff were really helpful, including one person who spoke English. We ate out, so didn’t use the site facilities. I’d definitely stay here again.

Avoid bringing your campervan here. The pitches are small and expensive, with no shade at all in nearly 40 degree heat. I had an animal with me and asked to move to a shaded pitch or part of the facilities, but was told no, even though guests were parking their cars there. Staff offered very little help. The paths are extremely narrow and the site isn’t suited to campervans or motorhomes, so it’s easy to scratch your vehicle trying to get around. We lasted an hour before leaving. I’d paid for a cancellation option and asked for a refund, but was refused because it only applies to extreme emergencies such as a death. I left extremely disappointed.

The reception team are always friendly and helpful, and we had another pleasant stay. John & Jennifer Coughlin are looking forward to coming back in 2023.

There are larger, more exciting campsites around, but this one suits me perfectly. The accommodation is fantastic.
