The room was pretty and clean, and the hotel is in a great spot. I could have used a few more electrical outlets.

We didn’t get to stay. The owner refused to give us a room even though the hotel was nearly empty. He was nasty and aggressive and upset my wife and me, and we’re both pensioners. I can’t understand his behaviour, especially when the reviews are mostly good. Was it because we’re British? I stayed here with my parents many, many years ago and had good memories. Not anymore.

I had a great time here, with lovely views and great service. The new guy at the desk helped me out so much. I didn’t really know where I was 😂, since I’d travelled to Cognac, France, and decided at the last minute to stay near the water. I found this place and felt welcome.

The location is fabulous, and the staff are caring and lovely. A lovely hotel, highly recommended.

The beach is only 20 metres away, and the staff were absolutely lovely, always smiling and happy to help. Parking was a bit complicated, though I guess that’s normal in August. Thanks!
