The area around it was lovely, and the place itself was a pleasant surprise. It makes a great base for trips to Cancale, Saint-Malo, and Mont-St-Michel.

Bed and Breakfast, The Hague. This is neither a gîte nor a hotel, but rooms and shared spaces for vacationers in a clean, quiet rural setting. The owners live on site, as the listing says online, so read it carefully to avoid surprises.

The quiet made for a really restful stay. Annie (our neighbor) welcomed us so warmly, though we hadn't realized from the description that we'd be staying with a local resident. Thankfully we had our own bathroom, even if four cats had taken it over.

The place was simple, cute, and clean, with peaceful surroundings. The people were so sweet and welcoming, warm and spontaneous. Thanks so much, Jack and Nadeska, for such a pleasant, relaxing break.

We were welcomed warmly, and the rooms were lovely and very quiet. The bedding was excellent, and that bathtub was top-notch. I highly recommend it.
