Breakfast had plenty of choices, and I enjoyed the nice buffet. My room was pleasant, with a clean bathroom. There were coloured lights above the desk that I could control from the bed, though I wasn't sure what they were for. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had a good stay. There's a small shopping mall with a supermarket next door. The large gate at the front stays closed until you ring for it to open.

The comfortable bedding, clean room and bathroom, good breakfast, and helpful, polite staff made for a pleasant stay apart from the noise. Our room, number 124, was at the end of the hotel, next to what seemed to be a service station. Loud sounds from there woke us around 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning. On both nights, other guests also disturbed us by playing their TVs very loudly late at night. Sound from the rooms and windows seemed to carry too easily. We weren't expecting luxury, but better soundproofing would have made a big difference. Everything else was positive.

The room was spacious and nicely designed, though it needs repairs. Water sat in the sink for a long time, the shower was broken, and little things like the towel hangers need attention. Cleaning could be better too. It seems the hotel was impressive once, but now needs repairs and a refresh. Breakfast was fantastic. The woman serving it was so engaged in arranging the food and helping guests, and made for a lovely start to the day. There were even little frying pans so you could cook your eggs yourself just the way you like them. Thanks so much to her.

The place is a bit run down, and one woman was doing her best to handle both the bar and reception. The food was microwaved. A refugee camp is next door, and groups of men hanging around on the road could feel intimidating to some. I heard music and shouting at random through the night.
