Le Domaine de Malabry

The venue itself was pretty and pleasant, with lots of rooms, which worked well for the wedding I attended this year. The owner, though, was far too involved. I wasn't invited to the reception, but he helped himself to the food and drinks. He also took photos without permission and was rude to the vendors, including the caterer. I sincerely think that after the venue has been rented and paid for, the owner shouldn't be mingling with the guests.

Philippe Becker's guidance and calm professionalism made a huge difference during our wedding weekend. He offered event advice and coordinated things throughout our stay, even managing to reassure us when we were very stressed. We could enjoy the occasion instead of worrying about how it was running. Our religious wedding was held at Domaine de Malabry on April 12, 2025. We'd first visited in the rain more than a year earlier and already felt sure it would make a magical reception venue. In sunshine, it was even more beautiful, and we're so glad our first impression was right. The connected dining room, cozy lounge and dance floor made it easy for everyone to move between spaces. The rooms were very comfortable, and we were lucky to have the newly renovated Grange aux Papillons for our cocktail reception. We hope to come back and use the self-catering accommodation. Thank you again, Philippe, for helping make this one of the loveliest days of our lives.

There are lots of places to play here, including a trampoline, ball pit, ping-pong table, swimming pool and foosball table. The grounds are incredible, and there are plenty of reception rooms for parties. Everyone can gather in the large, convivial kitchen for breakfast. The owner is extremely kind and helpful.

We found adult DVDs and condoms branded "libertin.com" in some rooms, which shocked several relatives who had brought their children. The newlyweds also had no hot water in their cottage during the stay, and the manager didn't seem bothered. This was a disappointing place for our family's wedding vow renewal, especially given the high cost. The problems started when we arrived and found the rooms and sheets dirty, with stains that looked like saliva or toothpaste. The refrigerators were dirty too, and one had mold inside. On top of the cleanliness issues, the owner turned up during the ceremony and took photos without asking the guests. That's completely inappropriate. The manager's bad faith, lack of professionalism and disregard for safety were unacceptable. Despite the site being very well renovated, this management makes the venue completely unsuitable for a family event.
