The rooms were small and dated, though basically okay, and the beds were fine unless you're tall. The kitchen was below standard. We skipped the 10 EURO breakfast after other reviews warned us, so I can't judge it. It may be quieter than a roadside hotel, but you can still hear the motorway, which isn't what I'd call peaceful. The place seems short on money for needed reinvestment, and the visibly underpaid staff seem to use every trick to squeeze more money from guests. Expect steep charges, including 20 EURO a night for a dog in your room and 8,50 for a glass of house wine with dinner.

I told them I’d be arriving late, but there was no key left for me, and nobody answered the phone at 1:00 in the morning. I’d just travelled 500 km after work. Never again, I don't recommend this place.

The restaurant was excellent and the prices reasonable, and there was plenty of parking. We stayed here while working on a project this summer. The hotel is easy to reach, a few hundred meters from the highway, but sits in a rural setting. It works well for a one-night or longer stay, and the location also suits larger gatherings like seminars, weddings, or family reunions. The room did get a bit hot this summer, even with its very thick walls.
