We loved every moment of our wedding at Château Canet. Anna and Victoria helped us through each decision, pointed us toward great suppliers and found lovely places around the property for each part of the celebration. The recovery day picnic they suggested was a big hit, and the whole team made sure everything felt special. We danced late into the night, and our guests were full of praise for the wine. Floris gave us a fascinating winery tour, and we could take bottles home after driving down with our dog Lincoln. We first came across the château while visiting venues in France. As soon as we reached the driveway, it felt right. Anna welcomed us warmly and showed us around, then we sat in the office with a glass of bubbles and knew we wanted to book it. The winter tasting weekend for couples getting married the next year was another thoughtful touch. We met suppliers, spent more time with Anna and Victoria, and swapped ideas with the other couples. Our wedding was in July this year, on Bastille Day weekend. On the last night, we stayed at the property with family, then went into Carcassonne for the celebrations and fireworks. It was a lovely end to a few unforgettable days. Thank you to Anna, Victoria, Floris and the whole Château Canet team.

The wine is every bit as good as the setting, and the rooms have a simple, just-right feel. Victoria, Floris, the staff and their three dogs make the place even more special. I came back for my second IT leaders summit here, and it was at least as good as the first. Already looking forward to my next visit in May.

The wedding weekend itself went just as we hoped. We started the party with karaoke and carried on until 6am. Having 42 guests stay in the cottages worked perfectly for our group, and each one had beers, wine and snacks to give everyone that inclusive feel. Our guests had so many lovely things to say about the weekend. I suspect our anniversary visit might turn into a reunion with all 70 of them! We got married in October 2025 and were lucky to have sunny French weather. I still remember waiting in the courtyard for everyone to arrive so I could show them around Château Canet. Then we had a pool party and wine tour. The open bar and different food trucks across the weekend gave us the relaxed holiday atmosphere we wanted. Planning from abroad could have been stressful, but Anna and her team made it feel easy. They welcomed all our ideas and nothing seemed like too much trouble. My parents drove down with decorations and flowers, and we got to visit a few days before the wedding to set things up, stock the cottages and drop off our alcohol. We also went through the plans with Anna and the team so everything was ready before the celebrations began. We'd booked our date before flying out to see the venue. From the first conversation, Anna made us feel at ease and gave us the information we needed. When we finally drove up to the château, we knew we'd made the right choice. It felt like fate when we discovered the only UK supplier had Canet wine stocked across from my parents' house! The tasting weekend after our first visit gave us a glimpse of the wedding weekend to come. It was great meeting the vendors and other couples and sharing ideas. And honestly, anyone planning a wedding could use an Anna. She's incredibly talented, and we're so grateful for everything she did. We made such special memories at this amazing vineyard. A huge thank you to the Canet staff. We'll definitely be back! Lots of love, Lizzie & Brad x

Our week at Château Canet for my aunt’s 50th birthday gave us memories we’ll hold onto for a long time. We spent our days laughing by the pool, walking among the vines and taking our time over meals with wine made on the estate. The team helped us arrange local wine tastings and suggested hidden gems nearby, with thoughtful care throughout. The rooms were spacious, spotless and comfortable, with a lovely mix of rustic French character and modern touches. Outside, the grounds were beautifully kept, with vineyards and striking views all around. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel at home. We came as guests and left feeling like part of the family. Merci, Château Canet, for such a special week.

Each year I bring a group of women to Château Canet for a weeklong culinary retreat, and Victoria and her staff make it run so smoothly that I can focus on my guests. They’re a dream team, with great taste, careful attention to every detail and a real knack for finding excellent local services that fit the budget. I’ve been returning for a week every year for the past decade, and I think of it as my home in France. The accommodations are both comfortable and elegant, with beautiful vineyard views and wonderful wines. Beyond all that, it’s the people, including owners Victoria & Floris and their hospitality team, who make the place so memorable. Château Canet is a delightful hidden gem in southern France. It has a magic that stays with you after you leave.
