The restaurant was perfect every time, proper fine dining. The hotel and grounds are stunning, and the room was beautiful and high class. What really made the stay, though, was the service. Everyone was so attentive, and we felt like the most important guests there. I couldn’t have asked for more. Stay a few nights if you can, or stop for dinner if you’re passing through. I highly recommend it, you won’t regret it.

The food was excellent, and they handled my gluten allergy really well. The staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s a very nice hotel in lovely grounds, with an outdoor pool. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in this part of France.

The pool situation was the most upsetting part. We paid for two nights but were only allowed to use the pool on one day, since they wouldn’t let us stay after checkout. We left very sad and would never recommend this place. The staff were also unfriendly and neglectful. They didn’t come to us, so if you needed anything, you had to go find them. And the prices were shocking. They charged us 24 Euros for a few biscuits, calling it « pose goûter », without telling us beforehand. Coffee and a croissant cost another 24 euros under the name « express breakfast ». Ridiculous.

The chef’s food was excellent, though the menu’s overly complicated numbering made it impossible to know what you’d be served. Our room was beautiful, in a stunning restored annexe. Chique without being too stiff.

We had a great room and enjoyed the dining. It was a short stay, but we really enjoyed it and would happily recommend the place.
