The campsite makes a handy base for exploring Corsica. We were there in mid-August, when the season was already winding down, so the site and the nearby beach, restaurants, and shops were all quiet. There are shady pitches, clean washrooms, a barbecue area, three pools, and evening activities every day if that's your thing. A well-stocked U supermarket nearby also sells local cheese, sausages, and wine. It's a small, friendly place just north of Ajaccio on Corsica's west coast, close to Sagone.

The leafy pitches felt private, and the facilities were good. I especially appreciated how warmly the French campers welcomed us, even with people from several different countries staying there. The staff were charming and helpful too.

We kept getting painful spiky seeds stuck in our feet because the campsite ground was covered with them. When I mentioned it at reception, they said there was nothing they could do. That made our stay hard to enjoy, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable, set among olive and fruit trees, and the staff were great. Parking was free, though Wi-Fi cost 5 euros per day and covered up to two devices. There's a grocery store just outside the grounds, but the village isn't close enough to walk to.
