The garden and pool were lovely, and our room was spotless. It’s a nice place to stay, and dogs are welcome. The only drawback for me was the very soft bed, though that’s just personal preference. Thanks!

There are plenty of spots to sit around the lovely garden, so even with the place full, you can find a quiet corner. We’ll be back. Judith clearly puts a lot of care into making this feel like a little bit of paradise. Everything is there, and the details are so well considered: spare blankets and duvets, towels, mosquito nets and curtains, condiments, washing-up liquid, BBQ firelighters, and even table tennis balls and rackets. There are several fireplaces, too. Not every item is brand new or styled to the latest fashion, but it’s all sparkling clean, works well, and has been thought through. Some people seem to find fault with everything, but reading Judith’s replies makes it clear how much effort she puts in.

Bella is such a friendly, lovely hostess. My wife and I stayed in the main house, which was spotless and had a rustic feel. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. A great place to switch off and unwind.
