We spent a memorable holiday at La Maison Rose, where Lorna and James looked after us so wonderfully. The place is beautiful, and the food and wine were great. They also arranged day hikes in the Vercors, led by the brilliant Edith. We spotted chamois, ibex and marmots among carpets of wildflowers. Thank you for such a memorable trip.

I came as a hiker with a donkey, which was an option here. The English host family was very friendly, and guests stay in a separate house. My room and bathroom were clean and really spacious, with shampoo and shower gel provided. There's a swimming pool too. The father used to run a large canteen in Great Britain and is a very creative, exceptionally talented cook.

We had a relaxing group holiday, with fantastic sightseeing and walks in the Drone valley. Miason Rose was clean and friendly, and the food was delicious.
