The charming atmosphere and excellent service made our visit to le 1050 a great one. I tried the bœuf mijoté aux saveurs estivales et chorizo, and it was absolutely amazing. The menu has creative French food, and I’d highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a lovely meal in Saint-Agrève.

Frédéric and his wife Carine made us feel very welcome. It’s a peaceful, lovely place, and the restaurant serves excellent food too. I’d gladly recommend it if you’re in Saint-Agrève or nearby. I’ll definitely come back! BT

The tourist train stops right in front of this hotel-restaurant, yet the outdoor pool closes in the middle of August for “summer closure.” I guess the owners must not enjoy a busy workload: “Quick, close the doors, the customers are arriving!” Maybe they’ll have the outdoor pool open in the dead of winter for guests to enjoy... 😑 That’s something you only see in France.

The breakfast was more than adequate, with regional products and quality worthy of a very high-end hotel. Our renovated room had excellent bedding and was very quiet. The managers were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I’d book this hotel without hesitation if passing through Saint-Agrève.
