The room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 15:20, even though check-in is available from 3 p.m. At first there was nobody at reception. We waited a few minutes, went into the restaurant, and were told someone was on the way. Five more minutes later, another person said their colleague was coming. We were then given a different room, and it was awful: the bathroom was dirty, the balcony covered in bird droppings, and the room was very dark. The view was poor too, unlike what we expected from our original room. Breakfast and the forest location were worth a star each. Sorry, but I won’t come back.

The food was excellent. I started with the foie gras nougat, which was a delight, then had surlawerla. It was cooked perfectly, still a little pink, and came with a very well seasoned sauce. I highly recommend it.

There are lots of flies, and the internet doesn’t work here. Breakfast costs 22 euros per person, which felt overpriced for what was offered. The price shown at the front desk was lower than the online rate, but we were charged the higher amount. The room was clean, in a farm hotel sort of way. Staff were nice, though not particularly helpful.

The views are beautiful, the hotel is nice, and the restaurant serves good food from their own farm. We had a perfect stay. This place is a real gem!

A really nice family run hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was good quality.
