We’ve just come back from a really happy stay at this lovely, characterful campsite. The restaurant has stunning views across the surrounding area, and the site itself has a great atmosphere. Our pitch was one of the biggest, with plenty of space and privacy, though sizes vary. The owners were warm and helpful, and all the facilities were clean and modern. Highly recommend it.

This wooded campsite is about 7 km from the nearest town. The pool area is outstanding, and there’s a bar and snack bar too. Facilities were spotless, and the charming owners were always around if we needed anything. We’d put it among the best campsites we’ve stayed at.

We had a really lovely week here, with plenty to do nearby by car. The campsite is around 15 minutes’ drive from Sarlat and has a good range of pitches. We went in the last week of June, before the main season, so only about a dozen of the nearly 100 pitches were occupied and it was very peaceful. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and the facilities were exceptionally clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

We’ll definitely come back. The two pools were beautifully kept and had a great view, while the level pitches offered a good choice and plenty of shade. We got a lovely welcome, and the toilets and other facilities were scrupulously clean. There was even soap in the toilets, which felt especially important with Covid-19 still around. It cost 17 euros a night for two people in a tent with electricity.

The location made it easy to get to the sights, and even in August the roads were surprisingly quiet. We loved how the tents, caravans, motor homes and chalets were spread together instead of separated into blocks. The pitches are large and shady, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. At first the number of toilets seems a bit low, but we quickly saw there was never a queue. They were clean, the showers had strong pressure and a decent amount of time per press. Both pools were lovely, and the bar overlooking them served wonderful pizzas and the best Pina Coladas around. We’ve stayed at lots of campsites over the years, and every so often one really blows us away. This was one of those.
