Chambres D'hotes Les Filolies

There was plenty of room for my husband, me, and our kids, who are 11, 13, and 16. The house was close to Sarlat and Beynac, in a beautiful region that made for a lovely trip. Nathalie made us feel at home, arranged dinner reservations, helped us plan outings, and made fantastic breakfasts for the family. Her kindness is what made the stay so special.

Les Filolies was a great base for exploring Perigord Noir and a bit of the Lot region. We stayed for three nights in May with our young daughter and all had a lovely time. The owners welcomed us warmly, were very helpful, and gave us lots of recommendations. Our triple room was clean and quiet, the hot shower worked well, and the wifi was reliable while I got some work done. Breakfast was varied, delicious, and very French :) The location is ideal for nature, surrounded by fields and forests, and many of the region’s main attractions, castles, and small towns are less than 10 minutes away by car. There’s free parking on site. We also loved all the animals, and our daughter enjoyed visiting them in the mornings. A charming stay. Thanks Nathalie, Jean Marc and Tania ;)

The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety and a lovely presentation. Adrienne knows the area well and suggested restaurants and sights to visit. We’ve just returned from a stay at Les Filolies in beautiful countryside, a short drive from Sarlat. Adrienne, the owner, welcomed us warmly, and our room was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and had a view. We highly recommend Les Filolies.

The grounds at Les Filolies are extensive, with room to wander, explore, and enjoy being outdoors. There are lovely animals too, and the pool was a welcome way to cool off in the French summer heat. Our room was comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful, and we left feeling relaxed and recharged. We had a wonderful two-night stay with Jean-Marc and Nathalie, who made us feel welcome right away. We appreciated how hard they tried to speak English, since our French is very limited, and enjoyed chatting with them. Their home has so much warmth, character, and charm. Some places just have a feeling that puts you at ease as soon as you arrive, and Les Filolies is one of them. We’d happily return and hope to visit again.
