Old Presbytery Guest House

Breakfast was generous and delicious, served buffet style. One evening we also had dinner by the pool and gazebo, enjoying David’s cooking. We met some lovely guests, and we all agreed we were thrilled with the place, the hosts, and the whole experience. The main house and grounds at The Old Presbytery are stunning. We made the most of the pool and nearby nature, visited vineyards, and enjoyed the shaded outdoor gazebo. We also loved the prune orchard and countryside views from the upstairs terrace, especially at breakfast, and the views from the upstairs living area while reading. Wayne and David were incredibly thoughtful and made us feel at home and on holiday. It’s a small property, and every room was occupied during our stay, so book ahead. A wonderful, memorable visit thanks to their warm hospitality and care for both the guests and the property.

Wayne and David make everyone feel so welcome, and their cooking and hospitality really made the stay. The property is decorated and furnished beautifully, with a special shout-out to the very cool artwork by Sena Shah. From the pool, where there’s a strong current for swimming or you can just float, to the comfortable beds and plentiful loungers, it’s very easy to settle in and relax. The location is gorgeous too, with wide views over the plum orchards towards the Dordogne. This was our second stay with them, and it was fabulous again.

Wayne and David were so helpful and welcoming throughout our wonderful stay at the Old Presbytery. The rooms were great and we slept really well. The pool was lovely, with beautiful views, and the property itself is to die for, decorated with great taste. We’d happily return and recommend it!

The homemade granola at breakfast was a highlight, especially sitting outside on the terrace. Wayne and David also shared helpful local tips and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. On our last evening they went the extra mile with a delicious homemade curry and Twinkle cocktails, such a lovely touch. The setting is gorgeous, with stunning views all around, and everything was immaculate and well cared for, including the outdoor pool.
