Paul and Renée were such lovely hosts, and breakfast was just right. We were so happy to find this beautiful B&B in our favourite village in France. Don't hesitate to book!

The daily breakfast was a treat: fresh baguette, croissants, cheeses, charcuterie, and fruit, plus helpful tips from Paul. We stayed four nights at Auberge Lion d'Or and loved it. It's a historic B&B in one of the village's most beautiful buildings, a few minutes from landmarks like Place de la Halle and the church. The rooms are spacious, vintage-decorated, and have ensuite bathrooms. We visited during July's hottest days, but the fans and thick old walls helped keep the rooms cool. Public parking is free and about two minutes away. We'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Saint Antonin Noble Val.

Our best meal was the hosts' home-cooked three-course dinner at Lion D’Or, which you really should try. We had a wonderful stay at Auberge Lion D’Or, with welcoming hosts and beautiful, traditional, roomy bedrooms. The bathrooms were clean and the showers very good. The B&B is in a beautiful 16th century medieval village, and the original features give it plenty of character. The hosts helped us plan trips to nearby towns and hikes with amazing views, and shared lots of restaurant suggestions. For a hot day, a picnic by the river followed by a swim in the fresh water is a great way to cool down. The Sunday farmers market is also worth a look for fresh local food. We can't wait to come back!
