Enzo, the resident chef, made the most incredible vegetarian food I’ve ever had. I’ll be dreaming about it forever. Nigel, the owner, has a wonderful personality and puts real care into making guests comfortable. Everyone who lives and works on the property was lovely, and I’m grateful for their hospitality. I came to La Roane for a week-long art retreat and can’t recommend it enough. The place feels magical, so peaceful, green, and welcoming that I felt right at home. It was a lovely healing experience, like my mind, body, and soul had been cleansed. Just what I needed. ❤️

We spent three blissful weeks here, with so much peace and tranquility. Annika and Bill were incredibly warm, attentive hosts, and made the stay unforgettable. An absolutely idyllic retreat, highly recommended 🌼

The scenery is spectacular, and Nigel, Anna, and all the staff looked after us as well as anyone could. La Roane is a lovely place to rest and recover. The vegetarian food is the best I’ve tasted in decades, not only for its flavour but also for the care and artistry that go into making it. I’ll be back.
