There were 11 of us, and we all had plenty of space. The bedrooms are roomy, and the large living room makes the cottage feel welcoming. It’s well equipped and tucked away in a quiet area. The manager was very kind, too. A rare find for the price. We’ll be back! 😊😊😊
The living room and kitchen get loads of natural light, and the wood-burning stove makes the place really pleasant. Lovely cottages in a beautiful setting. ✨️
We had a great weekend with friends. The cottage is set well away from other houses, so it’s very quiet, and its central living area and lounge are lovely.
Each of the four bedrooms and the mezzanine has its own bathroom. The chalet is superb, with a lovely amount of shared living space, and it was clean and well maintained. It’s ideal for 8 to 10 people.
The house is nice and the outdoor area is very pleasant, but there’s not much hot water, so don’t expect a relaxing shower. The owners control the heating, so bring sweaters and blankets if you’re staying in winter. After our Christmas stay, I had a makeup palette delivered to the owners’ home, but we’d already left by the time it arrived. I asked the owner if they could forward it, and offered to pay the postage. It took seven phone calls and six weeks, but the palette did eventually reach me, and I got to use it. Thanks for the consideration. Avoid at all costs!
