They even prepared breakfast just for us after we asked, and it was fit for a king in both quality and quantity. Earlier, we called during the lunch rush to ask about dinner that evening at 8 a.m., and they opened just for us. Every dish was excellent and homemade, and even the carafe of Médoc was good. Madam welcomed us with real kindness, and her cooking skills deserve special thanks. Mr. Gilles, her husband, was just as welcoming and kind. He shared stories about his sporting past and the people he'd met. A thousand thanks to them both!

We didn't stay in the rooms since we live in the village, but this is a really great place. The welcome is warm, and the flavorful food is made with fresh local ingredients. The calf's head served at lunch on Thursdays starting in autumn is a real treat, highly recommended. We'll be back to support the village's last remaining business. All the best!
