Eldapi vacances - Camping L'Écureuil ****

I want to thank this place for letting everyone swim freely, whether wearing a bikini or a burkini. Places that stand for inclusion, equality, and diversity deserve support. I booked for this summer, and the person who handled my call was especially welcoming and professional.

The site's upkeep was appalling, and getting around meant relying on a car because of its poor location. During our stay, the electricity kept cutting out, there were water leaks, and nighttime noise was a problem. When we arrived, the mobile home was dirty and the bedrooms had an unpleasant smell. The pools described as heated weren't heated at all. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this campsite.

Being less than 5km from the ocean, with beach access and night markets nearby, made for a successful holiday. The staff were pleasant and suggested towns that matched the activities we wanted. At the restaurant, everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We arrived on Sunday, rang the intercom, and had the keys within five minutes after handing over a standard official document. Our mobile home was clean, with a filter coffee maker, fridge, freezer, and a heater for cooler evenings. One of the homes also had a fleece blanket by the entrance. There were plenty of parks and playgrounds, plus access to pools at two campsites, one heated and one cooler. Nothing to complain about.

We ended up leaving early because the nights were so disturbed by all the noise around the mobile home. When we first arrived, we had to clean the place ourselves. One bedroom smelled strongly of urine, and its stained mattress couldn't be used. Luckily there were five of us in accommodation meant for six. I won't stay at this campsite again.
