B&B HOTEL Lyon Saint-Bonnet Mi-Plaine

I stayed from November 14 to 15 after booking through Booking.com. The hotel's location and room were both fine. The problem is that my rental car was badly scratched in the hotel car park. I only noticed the damage the morning I checked out. I messaged the hotel on Booking.com to ask them to check the CCTV and see who caused it, but I still haven't had a reply. The rental company has billed me a very large amount, which I'm expected to pay. Please get back to me and help.

Getting into the hotel was a miserable start. Even though I'd already paid for the room, the machine outside demanded immediate payment, and after I called the hotel I waited outside for over an hour and a half in a thin jacket. It was about 5 degrees before a staff member finally arrived and let me in. Inside, the bathroom was covered in black mold and smelled awful, like urine. Someone had punched the bathroom door. The room also had broken doors, a bad smell, screaming neighbors, and no service. Paying for a room like that, honestly, the irony. Check the photos and decide for yourself. The mold was awful, and I worry it could harm your health. Stay away if you're concerned about getting sick.

The hotel looked spotless when we arrived, and checking in at the entrance terminal was really easy. We stayed three nights. Our room was small, quiet, and clean, just what we needed. The bed was comfortable, though there was only one pillow and it was too soft. I couldn't ask for another since I don't speak French, and the staff didn't speak English. They cleaned the room every day but didn't replenish the toilet paper. The Wi-Fi and some TV channels were out for a whole day. Having a microwave for guests was handy. I'd stay again if I spoke French, but I wouldn't say it's a place for tourists.

It's only a few minutes from the airport, handy when you have an early flight, and the price is good. The internet kept cutting in and out. There are only stairs, which could be a hassle with heavy bags, and I wish the shower area were a bit bigger.
