The terrace was a lovely place to unwind in the sun, and you can set off on a hike right from the house. We spent seven great days at MaisonNel. The Dutch owners were so welcoming, even inviting us in for a drink when we arrived. The house was clean and comfortable, with stunning views, and it's a good base for exploring the Alps and other areas. Thanks for a great stay, Els and Henri ☀️

The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom beautiful. There's also a lovely extra space with a table where you can plan a day out or simply take it easy. Breakfast was delicious, especially enjoyed on the terrace looking out at the mountains. Henri & Els, your cheerful, warm welcome made us feel at home straight away. Their enthusiasm for the area helped us choose walks, bike rides, and driving routes, and led us to some beautiful places. Even just sitting outside in the peace and quiet with those mountain views was amazing. We had another wonderful stay at B&B MaisonNel and can't wait to come back and recharge. The setting makes for some fantastic rides, with several Tour de France cols nearby and even an unfamiliar but beautiful, hairpin-filled climb up to that ski resort. After each ride, it's handy to put all the cycling gear on the shelves in the front porch, ready for the next day. MaisonNel is a great base for cyclists. The house is light and spacious, clean, and has a comfortable bed and a nice terrace. We'll be back!

The area has loads of activities, so it worked really well for a family holiday. The gîte was spotless and had everything we needed, and we felt at home there. Els and Henri's place is in a peaceful setting, ideally located for spending time in nature.
