Autumn here is something else, with breathtaking scenery and so much for hikers to enjoy. The hosts are warm, helpful and friendly, and Luyk (the host, not sure about the spelling) is wonderful. It takes some effort to get here, but it’s worth staying several days to explore the Auvergne forests and volcanoes.

There are two trails at the summit I’m keen to try for mountain biking. One heads toward Mezel/Dallet, and the other goes toward Chariot and the area around it. It’s an interesting spot.
