Le Mas de Peycavier

We could make our own meals with the kitchen area, fridge, and barbecue, apart from breakfast. Restaurants are 4 km away. The guesthouse itself is very pretty and has a swimming pool. The bedroom could use more storage, and a queen-size bed might be more comfortable than the double, though that's a small issue.

The room for three had plenty of space and a chest of drawers, and the beds were comfortable. We also had a private toilet and a walk-in shower. Charles and Justine welcomed us so warmly, and the place is peaceful, surrounded by nature and tastefully decorated. They were discreet, helpful, and very accommodating. Thanks again, and I hope we get to see them again.

The breakfast was generous, varied, homemade, and delicious. We also chose the set-menu dinner and really enjoyed the homemade meal, especially for such a reasonable price. Charles and Justine made us feel completely at home. We loved the rooms, living area, and lovely grounds, all beautifully decorated. We only wish we'd stayed longer, and we'll be back.

Breakfast was a treat, with local cheeses, homemade pastries and jams, fruit, fresh bread, and Daniel's soft-boiled egg. Patricia and Daniel are pleasant, discreet hosts who clearly love welcoming travelers. The property sits by a huge pine forest in a peaceful natural setting. Outside it's a simple stone building in the local rural style, while inside the renovation is tasteful and everything is carefully kept. There are four bright, spacious rooms with private bathrooms, styled with Provençal, shabby chic, and ethnic touches. The embroidered linen and mix of earthy colors and Provençal flowers show the care put into the details. The kitchen has what you need, including a coffee maker and microwave, and there's a clean outdoor barbecue for meals by the pool. Rooms also have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a TV. The garden has quiet spots with loungers and hammocks, plus a ping pong table and guest bicycles. For a lazier break, there are exercise bikes and a hot tub. A lovely choice if you want peace, good food, and warm hospitality in this beautiful region.
