The restaurant felt like a joke to me. I’d never come across Chinese sauce served with foie gras before. Even if you’re starving, don’t go there.

The church right next door could be a problem if you like sleeping in. The Wi-Fi was just so-so, and the rooms felt much the same, with poor upkeep and a moldy TV. Food was average too. Fine for a single night, I guess, but nothing beyond that.

Coffee and wine cost extra, and there was sand in the salad. The meal was okay apart from that, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The restaurant changed hands in September 2018 and is now called La Bastide Capraise, in case that’s useful to know. I really recommend it, excellent!!!
