Chambre d'hôtes Les Boutons d'Or

The hosts are so kind that it's easy to relax and not worry about anything. Some hotels offer no more, even at much higher prices. The cottage is high quality, a real haven of peace, and has everything you need for a great stay. It's easy to park, and having your own space is a real plus, so you can enjoy your evenings without disturbing anyone. The room is spacious and well equipped, with a tastefully decorated bathroom. Linens and towels are supplied, which is much appreciated. Breakfast is generous and served every morning, and the cottage overlooks a swimming pool that's easy to access for sunny days and relaxing.

We slept really comfortably, even with our sensitive backs, and the room felt well equipped. It was peaceful, with a view over the pool, and the welcome was perfect. Very good value.

I felt like I was getting in the way, which is not the kind of welcome I'm used to in rentals. We had mentioned our Saturday event and that we'd need a late breakfast on Sunday, but when I asked for it at 10:30 AM, the response was so poor that I gave up on breakfast. We arrived at 8:40 PM rather than 8:30 PM, and the host was very cold, without seeming concerned about any difficulties we might have had on the journey.
