The owners made us feel at home straight away, with a warm welcome and lots of thoughtfulness. We were visiting friends in Saint-Chamas and stayed at Domaine de l'Escape from Thursday to Monday. It was clean, quiet, and restful, and we'd be glad to come back.

The welcome was friendly, and it’s a very calm, relaxing place. But the breakfast was basic, and the amenities felt sparse for the price: one bath towel each, nothing in the bathroom apart from toilet paper, and a coffee maker with no coffee. I don't think I'll return.

Avoid this place. We were sharing the rental, but after some family events we had to leave. Getting out was a nightmare: they charged us again for electricity, which I believe was illegal, and made accusations against us that weren't true. There were cockroaches and roaches in every corner. Just stay away.

It's a lovely spot for some peace and quiet, with a really warm, excellent welcome. Good value for money too. I'd recommend it.

We found a peaceful place with hosts who made us feel very welcome. There's a lot of potential here, and the stay was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for having us.
