The pool was a real treat, and we stayed in the stone cottage, which has a cellar-like feel and stayed pleasantly cool even during the heatwave everyone else was dealing with. A really lovely cottage, with owners who are genuinely friendly and attentive.

We’ve made La Bastide des Borels our regular summer holiday spot, staying in the Ibie, and the family is always keen to return. The location is superb, with the Bois de Paiolive nearby for hikers and trail runners, and a river for swimming just a 10-minute walk away. The accommodation is spotless and has all the comforts you need. You can use the barbecues on site, and the owners can arrange bakery orders and delivery. The pool is fantastic, with a beautiful view. A sure bet for us, we’re never disappointed.

The owners are charming, and you feel right at home. The cottage is warm, very clean, and full of character, with tasteful decor and magnificent mountain views. It’s a great base for visiting the lovely villages of the Ardèche. Highly recommended!

The cottages are lovely and the setting was beautiful, which makes it a shame that groups don’t seem welcome. The owners didn’t tolerate noise from the children, music, or late meals, and things ended in a major conflict with the owner.

The guest room was spotless, practical, and tastefully decorated, in a very quiet spot with a pretty view and nice surroundings. We got a great welcome, and the owners were attentive and full of helpful advice. We highly recommend it!!!! Cazau family
