The view from the couple of rooms is stunning, even though the rooms themselves are pretty spartan. It's family-run, and the welcome was extremely warm. They don't speak English, but do their best to communicate. There are kids and dogs around, so you have to be okay with them living there.

My dad and I stayed just one night, and the home-cooked food and local beers made it feel special. The next morning we woke to an astonishing view over the valley. It was a quaint, welcoming place that felt far removed from the big ski resorts. I can't recommend it enough.

Youssef and his wife made us feel at home, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of flexibility to make the stay work for us. The food was delicious, and breakfast came with warm bread and croissants. The staff were really friendly, and the location was great. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back!

For the price, the rooms are very tidy and the hosts are lovely. It works well as inexpensive accommodation for a stopover or a stay in les2alpes. The gondola at Vernosc is 12 minutes away and runs from 7am to 7:30pm, so you can get up to the village or back down quickly.

After a full day skiing, we had a really good time here with friends. It's quite remote, which suits mountain lovers, and the local beers were tasty. I'll definitely come back!
