Good value for money. I slept well in the comfortable bed, and my dog was welcome for a small, very reasonable fee. The hotel was quiet and welcoming, with friendly staff. My room and bathroom were spotless, and breakfast was good.

We’ll definitely come back. It was our second stay at this charming little hotel, and the half-board option is a great deal. After a full day hiking, the pool was a pleasure, followed by the chef’s generous, varied evening meals. The food was delicious, carefully prepared and home-style. It’s a great spot for exploring the Jordanne Valley on foot and the Cantal region more broadly.

Dinner at the restaurant was pure bliss, so don’t miss it. We tried a room with a balcony and a view of the mountains. It was lovely and incredibly peaceful.
