Les Granges Hautes

The food was amazing, and I'd recommend eating at the property on the evenings they offer it. The owners really spoil you, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful every morning. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the pool and grounds were just as clean and beautiful. We had a perfect week and would love to return with our family. Merci! ⭐️

Gilles and Anouk were superb, friendly hosts in a beautiful spot that made a great base for exploring. We visited at the start of the season and had a wonderful few days. Our room was comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The evening meal with the other guests was out of this world. They gave us plenty of help with routes, sightseeing and restaurant choices, even booking tables for us, which was perfect with our limited time. We found it through Sawdays, and their description wasn’t exaggerated.

We arrived without a reservation, and Anouk and Gilles welcomed us on the spot. They found a lovely room for our family of four, two adults and two kids, and even let the kids try the pool. The property is beautifully kept, like a dream, and the rooms were clean, tidy and nicely decorated, with luxurious towels and linens. Breakfast was friendly and perfect, with homemade items, and they helped us get a restaurant table. They took time to talk with us and get to know our kids. Their English is very, very good, though I wish we spoke more French. Everything was perfect, and this stay at Les Granges Hautes was the highlight of our two-week road trip for everyone. We’ll come again and highly recommend it for an authentic B&B experience with a warm, friendly French couple. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!! Merci Beaucoup!

We stayed three nights in the gite, and it was one of the best places we’ve ever seen. Everything was very clean, spacious and surrounded by wonderful scenery. Anouk and Gilles were always available and gave us exactly the advice we needed to enjoy the Dordogne. They clearly enjoy making guests happy, and their kindness felt completely natural.
