Les Bulles de Mer - Résidence

The atmosphere was calm and quiet, just right for switching off. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is somewhat remote, so arriving by car or renting one will give you more flexibility. We had a truly wonderful stay. The location is hard to beat, only a few steps from a beautiful sandy beach with clear water and a lifeguard on duty. The grounds were spotless and very well maintained, and the pool area was lovely, with plenty of comfortable loungers. Our room was fantastic, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with working air conditioning, a large balcony, and a stunning view of the pool and sea. Breakfast was generous, with a wide choice of breads and pastries and good options for people with lactose or gluten intolerance. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. Nearly everyone spoke good English, and we especially liked the warm welcome and personal tour when we arrived. You don't often get that level of hospitality these days. We also ate at the hotel restaurant. It cost a bit more, but the excellent food and service made it worth every euro. We'd come back in a heartbeat. The hotel was worth every cent.

We asked if we could keep using the pools well after checkout, and they let us. The beds were pretty good, and they even sorted out the duvet request we'd made in our pre-arrival email. Breakfast was good, though a little limited, and the eggs were good. I recommend this hotel.

We booked half-board for a three-day stay, so dinner was included. On the first night, they charged us for the full dinner until we pointed out what our booking said; they apologized then. On the third day, we waited half an hour just to order drinks, and half the menu wasn't available. They also tried to charge us for desserts that were already included. The worst service I've ever had in my life. Stay away!

The sea-view patio and air-conditioned room made our stay especially comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hotel's lovely pool area. It's right on the beach, and the restaurant food was excellent too. A very restorative visit.
